Neat! Fun! But not cheap.

And if you really want to up the price, use Oyaide Power Recepticles,
like these:

<a href=http://www.revolutionpower.com/p/Oyaide+Power+Receptacle+SWO-
XXX+ULTIMO+Gold++Palladium/57/>Oyaide</a>

There are even more expensive outlets out there, but these are the
ones I use myself in the dedicated power line I run to my Class A
2400W (total possible at 2 ohms) Krell amplifier. I had been
planning to use a cheaper Audiophile-grade outlet, and save the
Oyaide for some delicate front-end stuff, but the electrician found
some problems with the cheaper outlet, while he thought the Oyaide
was fine. Worked fine with the 10 Gauge copper wire too. I didn't
tell him how much it cost. And there are far more expensive ones out
there too. But I just love that purple.

With something like that, at minimum, you'd want a fairly nice power
cord, like this one from Shunyata:

Though, currently (hah) I'm looking for something in that price range
but with 10 Gauge wire.

If cost is no object, there's always Nordost Valhalla:

I don't believe the hype, actually, but I do like having a bit better
quality than generic.
