[XCSSA] Average lifespan of an Adaptec SCSI card?

Its on a pretty substantial APC unit and its never hurt during a brown
out on campus. I think its stable again after removing the card and
blowing out the PCI-X slot. Its been up for 2 days now with no kernel
panics and/or filesystem errors.
