As awesome as "USB creator" is, it only works with Ubuntu iso images.
>From Crag's links I did find "Unetbootin" which says it will work
with any boot-able image. It also states it will automagicaly setup
a dual boot environment.  No persistent storage though.
Ubuntu Jaunty has a Deb for "unetbootin".
