There's also DLP and HD-ILA. One uses a single light chip and a color-
wheel and the other is a three chip variant (Sony had something
similar but they called it something else). Older DLP models had
slower speed color-wheels which caused flicker so be sure to look at
the screen carefully (particularly white text on black) to see if it
is DLP or if it flickers.
