I was thinking about suggesting that. How about also some mechanism  
that goes and fetches sodas from the fridge and puts them in the  
cooler. Now that would be sweet :)

Sounds like a cool project though, sad I'll miss it.

On that note, I wasn't able to finish the synth in time, so even if I  
didn't have company over, I still would have only been able to bring  
it in a non-working condition. Or at least barely working. I did  
switch out all but one of the ribbon cables that was giving me  
problems. I switched to using individual wires, which was tedious but  
will at least let me fix the wires that break individually. Last night  
while trying to attach the control surface PCB to the panel, I had a  
few wires break on me and then my last ribbon cable finally gave out.  
So perhaps by next meeting :)
