That's more commonly known by its code name of "Pismo", and it's the
first model with a Firewire port.

You should avoid the "flying saucer" power supply that came with that
model. Even the previous model's power brick (which itself had
problems) is better than that. The main problem is that the strain
reliefs on the cords (like too many other so-called "strain reliefs")
were designed by an idiot, and they don't do their job. Eventually
the wires first in the AC cord and later the DC plug will break.
You'll see charring inside the wire and sparking when there's power.

All the G3 Powerbook power supplies use the same plug. It's probably
better to get as high of a wattage supply as you can find, but it
won't matter much unless you have a battery that still works eight
years later.

Sorry folks, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it down to
SA tomorrow. But I should be at the computer show on the 29th, and in
the unlikely chance it turns out that it doesn't work, I might be
interested in buying it from you for parts to rebuild my old one. (I
really need to start checking Goodwill to see if any show up in the
"scraptops" piles.)
