[XCSSA] Meeting Topics for Monday 17th Meeting (over 1 week out)

Actually, this is the Wheel and Encoder kit from Parallax controlled by
two HB25 (25 Amp Motor controllers, same input as a servo) with a
Propeller as brain.
The Prop decodes the signal from the VEX R/C receiver and controls the
two HB25 as servos.
You can pretty much take any standard R/C setup and hook up the HB25s as
"servos" if you want to. However Allelectronics sold the VEX
Transmitter/Receiver kit for $30 a while ago and there is already an
object for the Prop to decode the signals so my choice was pretty simple...
This rig is far from finished, I still need a mechanism to open the lid
for example and I'm sure I'll come up with a bunch of other silly ideas
as well...
I wasn't really going to show this until I had some more work on it but
since we don't have that much for the meeting tomorrow, I thought I'll
show it anyway...
I think what fooled you to think I was using an Amp is that I didn't
have a project box big enough so I gutted an old non-working DVD-player
and put all the electronics in the case.
However that would have been an awesome hack to use an amp as a motor
controller... ;-)
