I vaaaaaguely remember back in the 80s there used to be a clone or
compatible machine of either the TI 99/4A, the c=64 or the c=128
computers. It was made by another company and had a form factor a bit
more reminiscent of the PCs at the time. I do remember being surprised
in seeing the machine because most computers coming out at the time were
IBM compatibles, and it was VERY odd to see someone come out with a
clone of a platform that was about to die off.
I looked the originals up on Wikipedia and didn't see any references to
them on the first search.
Does anyone else remember these machines? I remember they came out
either during the original machine's decline or a year after they quit
production.
