Well, Jeremy asked first so I'm going to let him have the first pick...
Hope you don't mind...

I plugged in the CDTV to the TV and the spinning CDTV logo comes on...
When I put a CD in the tray and load it not much happens...
The CD spins and an LED flashes slowly... ;-)

That's actually what I was looking for, the Amiga 500 was the computer I 
wanted but the Atari 520 was the one I could afford...
I'll trade you the A1000 with the extra drive for the A500... ;-)
And if Jeremy don't want the CDTV, I'll throw in that as well...
